NewInSpain is written for people who live in Spain or are about to move here – and the best stories come from you. Send us your photos and experiences, and if we publish them, we credit you by name.

What we are looking for

• Matchday and sport: your photos from La Rosaleda, a padel tournament or the local football club.
• Concerts and events: a great night out, a feria, a festival or a market.
• Restaurants, bars and cafés: the tapas bar you always take your visitors to.
• Places, beaches and day trips: a hidden beach, a walk in the mountains or a village worth the drive.
• Life in a town or village: what it is really like to live in Frigiliana, Mijas, Nerja or anywhere else – a short blog post is perfect.
• Your story of moving to Spain: what surprised you, what you wish you had known, and your best tips.

How it works

1. Fill in the form below and add up to 5 photos.
2. We read every story. If we choose yours, we may edit it lightly and add it to an article, a guide or our Facebook pages.
3. We credit you by name, for example “Photo: Anna, Fuengirola”. There is no payment.
